Fedora and CentOS

Three distributions are always a mainstay OS servers, 2 are free and one paid (maybe a new update thx pay) what is the advantage to the 3 OS's? Let us describe one by one

 Fedora (previously called Fedora Core, sometimes also called Fedora Linux) is an RPM-based Linux distribution developed by yum and the Fedora Project is supported by a community of programmers and sponsored by Red Hat. The name comes from the character Fedora fedora used in Red Hat logo. In release 1 to 6 of this distro called Fedora Core which then turned into Fedora on release to-7. Fedora Linux is recognized globally as a distro is a pioneer in the use of latest technology and is a distro that is used by Linus Torvalds.

The Fedora Project began in late 2003, when Red Hat Linux is stopped. The advantages compared to other distros Fedora:   
 1. Very innovative, like Ubuntu, Fedora has always released the newest version every year even 2 times a year. Starting with Fedora Core 1 to November 5, 2003 to the latest version of Fedora Core 14, released November 2, 2010 yesterday. Fedora Core 15 (Codename: Lovelock) scheduled to be released on May 10, 2012.

2. A good level of security that is the package of SELinux (Security-Enhanced Linux)
3. Support application package very much.

Disadvantages:    
1. Not as stable as Debian or Slackware for servers
2. Not as easy and sophisticated Suse or Mandrake for desktop use.
3. Multimedia is less (by default) can not play Windows Media format, MP3, or DVD.

CentOS :
     

 CentOS Community Enterprise Operating System is a Linux distribution derived from RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux). CentOS is made by North American Enterprise Linux. But unlike other Linux derivatives, CentOS is RHEL copian of 99%. Why?

Since CentOS is just a label RH and replaced with a generic label. So the contents of the program the same as RHEL CentOS. Drivers of road in an automatic way too RHEL on CentOS.
Although the existence of CentOS frightening depends on Red Hat but this would provide added value, because the RH is the only commercial Linux distributions that are used extensively in large companies and the only Linux distribution that is supported by CPanel (control panel CPanel is the most used by hosting companies, hosting nearly 100% using CPanel). Advantages and Disadvantages CentOS
